4. Coastes

For a laidback day at the beach, head over to Coastes at Sentosa’s Siloso Beach. This rustic, breezy beachside bar and restaurant has sunbeds and deckchairs that flow right to the water’s edge. On top of that, it features a neat selection of booze and delicious food that elevates your entire beach experience. Think premium beers and wines, house pour spirits, frozen cocktails, accompanied with delectable brunch fare, mouth-watering pizzas and burgers, homemade plates of pasta and sweet desserts. It’s a slightly quieter scene than other beach bars, so it’s suitable for families and children.

5. FOC Sentosa

Most of Singapore’s beach clubs and bars are Bali-inspired, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But if you’re looking for a different ambience, hit up FOC Sentosa. This sophisticated beach club takes its cue from Barcelona’s world-famous beach culture, bringing you a piece of the vibrant Mediterranean spirit, cuisine and drinks.

Conceptualised by Michelin Star Chef Nandu Jubany, you can look forward to a wide range of dishes like FOC’s signature paellas and grilled seafood while you sip on refreshing cocktails, summery wines or a generous “gentleman’s pour” of chilled gin & tonic, served the Spanish way in a tall highball glass. The balcony overlooking the pool is a great place for lunch or for dinner. You get the breeze and the view but it’s a little less splashy than dining right by the pool.

6. Sand Bar

Surrounded by sandy shores and palm trees, Sand Bar’s the place to be for chill vibes, groovy beach music and panoramic views of the Siloso Beach coastline. This elegant yet cosy drinking spot dishes out scrumptious beach fare and zesty grills, and of course, a decent range of thirst-quenching tipples. 7. Ola Beach Club

The closest you can get to Hawaii in Singapore is Ola Beach Club. Nestled along Sentosa’s Siloso Beach, this Hawaiian-themed beach club and bar feeds you Hawaiian-style fare like ahi poke bowls and bar bites such as Hawaiian kebabs. 8. Atmosphere Bistro & Bar

Good food, good vibes and an even better view are what Atmosphere Bistro & Bar is all about. The vibe at this East Coast Park bistro is very chilled and family friendly, with a menu filled with western and international flavours, including fish & chips, ribeye steak and mala chicken. If you’re here for the drinks, its bar serves a range of draught beers, spirits, wines, cocktails and even mocktails – the perfect pair for bar snacks like nachos, buffalo wings and mentaiko fries.

9. SandBank

This casual bistro and bar in East Coast Park’s Parkland Green oozes family-friendly vibes. It houses a 15-metre plunge pool that spans the front of the outlet, with a third of the pool sectioned off for children and the rest kept for adults to relax with cocktails, wines or draught beers. Its kitchen dishes out freshly baked loaves of bread from its in-house bakery, handmade pizzas, pasta, chargrilled meats and seafood, and more. It also features a kids’ menu for young ones ages three to 12. Not to forget, SandBank is pet-friendly, so if you’ve got furkids, you can bring them along and dine in this bistro’s alfresco area.

10. Georges @ The Cove

If dining under the stars with stunning views of the sea sounds perfect to you, it’s time for you to swing by this beachfront dining spot along Pasir Ris Road. Bali-inspired Georges @ The Cove offers a scrumptious spread of both Asian and western grill options, from barbecued baby pork ribs and a seafood platter to paneer butter masala – a vegetarian curry with cottage cheese served with plain naan and mint yoghurt.
