The wet season may put a raincheck on your outdoor holiday plans, so we thought of a few best indoor attractions that you could bring your family and friends with!

1. Gardens by the bay

Visit the bay-view garden dome which recently gained international fame and slowly creeping up the Singapore icon list. One of most scenic views and photo perfect attractions the city has to offer. The great part of it is that most of the garden is in a indoor setting, including the Cloud Forest, Flower Dome and Floral Fantasy, and if the weather is playing ball, take a cooling walk on top of the OCBC skyway and the Supertree Observatory!

This September, a Mexican theme is brewing at the hanging gardens, flower dome. from 20 Aug to 25 September, in collaboration with the Mexican embassy, Mexican Roots showcases vibrant floral interpretations and icons of ancient Mexican civilisations, including a 4.5m-tall reproduction of the iconic Chichén Itzá pyramid of the Mayans, the Aztec double-headed serpent, food and plants endemic to Mexico such as corns, chillies and tomatoes; and medallions with mosaic designs composed of seeds, beans and pulses.

Look forward to a floral extravaganza headlined by showy blooms like orchids, dahlias and bromeliads, decked in a plethora of buoyant colours that call to mind the lively hues often associated with Mexico.

And if you and your kids don’t mind an evening visit, where beautiful lights light up the entire flower dome, there’s another reason to visit after 6pm.

Kids enter the flower dome for free! This promo is until 11 Aug 2022 – official site
